There are seasons where I fall short where work, motherhood, being a wife, and the chaos of everyday life get so loud that my time with Him gets pushed aside. And sometimes I convince myself I need to get it together before I come back to Him. But that’s the lie. Jesus never said, “Come when you’re perfect.” He said, come as you are. 🤍 Come overwhelmed. Come exhausted. Come distracted. Come carrying the guilt, the mess, the questions, and the weight of it all. Because He isn’t standing at the altar waiting for a perfect version of me. He’s waiting for me arms wide open, right in the middle of my mess. And maybe someone else needs this reminder too: you don’t have to clean yourself up before you run back to Jesus.
