About Tik Ghost

Tik Ghost is a free website for viewing, downloading and exporting public TikTok content. It runs in any browser, with no sign-up and nothing to install.

What you can do here

Enter a TikTok username, or paste a link to a profile or a video. From there you can:

  • See a public profile with its bio, counts, videos and reposts
  • See the stories an account has live, from the last 24 hours, and save them
  • Browse follower and following lists, except a following list its owner keeps private
  • Watch videos in TikTok's official player, with their stats and their comments, replies included
  • Download videos as MP4 (usually 720p) or HD (up to 1080p, H.265), or only the audio, as MP3 or M4A depending on what TikTok provides
  • Save photo posts as a ZIP file or one photo at a time, or turn them into an MP4 video in your browser, where supported
  • View and save profile pictures at full size, up to 1080 × 1080 pixels
  • Export comments, videos, reposts, followers and following as CSV or Excel files

Who it is for

Researchers and journalists use Tik Ghost to study public posts and keep records of them. Marketers look at a creator's videos and audience before working together. Creators save copies of their own work. And many people simply want to watch TikTok without making an account.

How it works

Our server gets public data from TikTok when someone asks for it, and keeps each answer for 5 to 30 minutes so that repeated requests don't go back to TikTok. No profiles of TikTok users are built from it.

Downloads stream from TikTok through our server to your device and are not stored. Exports are put together in your browser, one page at a time, and never stored on our servers.

Tik Ghost shows public accounts only. Private accounts, and posts shared only with friends, are never shown.

Free, with limits

Everything on Tik Ghost is free. To keep the service working for everyone, the number of requests one visitor can make is limited, and each visitor can run up to 30 exports a day, after a quick automatic check.
