What you can see without an account
A public profile opens with its bio, its follower, following and like counts, and its latest videos. Tabs lead to the account's reposts, any stories it has live, and its follower and following lists. Open a video and it plays in TikTok's official embedded player, next to its play, like, comment and share counts, with the comments and their replies underneath. Videos can be saved without a watermark as MP4, or as HD when TikTok has a sharper version, and you can keep just the audio or the photos from a photo post.
How it compares with TikTok when logged out
TikTok lets people without an account see some public content, but only for a while before it asks them to log in, and liking, commenting, following and messaging all need an account. This site is for watching and saving, not taking part. There is no For You feed and no search: you start from a username or a link someone sent you, then follow profiles, reposts and comment threads from there. Private accounts stay private here as they do on TikTok, and posts a creator limited to friends are not shown.
Your privacy while you watch
You never sign in here, and we never ask for TikTok login details. Profiles, lists and comments are fetched by our server without any account, so those lookups aren't tied to yours. The video player is the exception: it is TikTok's own, loaded from tiktok.com, and TikTok may set cookies through it. If you are logged in to TikTok in the same browser, TikTok may record what you watch on your account. Watching in a private window, where you are not logged in, avoids that. Request logs on our server are deleted within seven days.

What can I type in the box?
A @username, or a link to a TikTok profile, video or photo post, copied from the app or a browser. Short links from vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com are fine too.
Can the account owner tell that I visited their profile?
Profile view history on TikTok is made up of visits by accounts that have the setting turned on. A lookup here uses no TikTok account, so no visit of yours is recorded there.
Can I download videos without an account?
Yes. A public video's page has buttons to save it without a watermark, as MP4 or HD, or to keep the audio alone. Photo posts can be saved one picture at a time or all together as a ZIP file.
Does it work without the TikTok app?
Yes. The whole site runs in a web browser, so a phone, tablet or computer is all you need.
