And Lil Durk's lawyer, Brian Steel, asked the question every defense lawyer dreads: “How do you unwind this?” Legally, we presume jurors follow that instruction. But Steel's question wasn't legal, it was human: how do you make twelve people unknow something they already heard? A jury is supposed to decide whether the government proved THESE charges, not whether the defendant is a bad person. The judge can strike the words from the record.
