There's a claim going around that law enforcement can't get your FaceTime calls. It's half true, which is exactly what makes it dangerous, because the half people leave out is the half that can put you in a federal courtroom. And it came up directly in the Lil Durk trial. The half nobody's telling you: (1) an agent testified FaceTime calls are still ON THE DEVICE, if law enforcement gets your actual phone, they can see them in the call list, no carrier needed. And (2) prosecutors can use the choice against you, in this trial the government argued the group used FaceTime because “it's harder to track.” Don't confuse “harder to track” with “untraceable.” Note – Trial evidence.
