🗓️ Friday, September 25th ⏰ 9am (Press Conference after at 11am) 📍 1 W Adams St Jacksonville’s largest debt- over $3 billion-is held by the Jacksonville Police and Fire Pension Fund (PFPF). This debt is exacerbated by the poor investments in failing bonds, such as nearly $2 million held in corporate bonds of Israeli company, TEVA pharmaceuticals. TEVA pharmaceuticals is in debt after a slew of settlement payouts totaling over $10.6 billion for allegedly price fixing medication, bribing foreign officials, and it’s role in the fentanyl crisis. Join us at the PFPF Board meeting on Sep. 25, @ 9 AM (at 1 W Adams Street) to ask the Jacksonville Police and Fire Pension Board to say NO to renewing a $205 thousand bond with TEVA. Join us after for a Press Conference at 11am.
