Today is Trans Day of Visibility. I see you. I love you. You are a beautiful light. And it is more important than ever to support and SEE the people that many people in our government are actively fighting against and refusing to acknowledge as who they are. If you or your family need resources or support, please reach out to one or more of these highly rated organizations below. We see you and we love you for being the beautiful light that you are. 💙💗🤍💗💙 Find your closest LGBTQIA+ community center through the CenterLink directory. Many LGBTQIA+ community centers provide services for families of trans and non-binary youth and if they don’t, they can help you get connected to other community resources. TransFamily Support Services guide transgender/non-binary youth and their families through the gender transitioning process to help make it the most positive experience possible. They provide family coaching, assistance with healthcare and insurance issues, help navigating the legal system, and support at schools. All services are provided at no fee. Stand with Trans provides a variety of programs and services to support trans and non-binary youth and their families including support groups for kids ages 9-12, 13-17, and 18-24 as well as groups for parents, a LifeLine Library, and therapy assistance.
