ZOE 🍒 @zoe.raquelOctober 2nd 2025 I came home to find my mum had passed away from a brain aneurism. Nothing could have prepared me for that moment. Everything froze and I was in a state of shock, denial, disbelief. She wasn’t meant to be gone at 55. The last 10 months have been a wild journey and I haven’t spoken about it, but I enjoy seeing other people speak about it because it makes me realise that I’m not alone so if you can take anything from anything I post, it’s that you are also not alone. I wish I started documenting my journey sooner, but it’s never too late to start doing things that will help. Unless you’ve gone through the loss of a parent in your 20’s, you really can’t imagine what you go through. Let this be a reminder that if you have the chance too, go call your mum, give her a hug, tell her how much you love and appreciate her. Before it’s too late 🤍 #grief #parentloss
